Monthly Archives: January 2014
Ok, I lied! Or, maybe, it was wishful thinking?
There’s magic, aka craft beer, in the air today. Must have something to do with four hundred, or maybe it’s the Hoponacci with palisade hops?
It’s getting time to make a decision. But before I do that I’m going to enjoy a pint of the new Hoponacci with Belma hops, definitely different from the Palisade, not as bitter to my untrained palette.
Must be Monday-Funday! Oh Crap!
New brewery in LaPorte, IN that Bruce says is worth the trip; yeah, I need to tell you the name of it. It’s Twisted K-8.
After some tanning at Warren Dunes Debbie and I stopped by Greenbush for some soup and beer. I think, before we go to Tapistry, we will stop by Weko Beach for a quick dip in the refreshing waters of Lake Michigan.
What do you do when it’s your wife’s birthday? Well, I don’t know what you would do, but I am taking her on my day’s journey to Greenbush and Tapistry. Oh yeah, I also bought her a five pound bag of Infusco coffee, the Indian Monsooned Malabar Black & Tan to be exact. Great stuff!
Put on your galoshes and rain coat, and you might as well bring an umbrella, too, ’cause it’s going to rain in January. So why don’t you drop what you’re doing and head on over to your favorite brew pub? Me? I’m drinking the last pint of Ryem or Reason at Tapistry, which just switched over to a lighter rye called Rye as a Kite.
What am I supposed to do? I don’t have Dustin to go over the week’s tragedies, which is a tragedy in itself.
In case anyone wanted, or cared, to know, Greg at Tapistry is fully recovered. Speaking of Tapistry, you may want to stop by today for a pint of their mystery beer, a smokey maple brown called MLB OF ALL things. I thought it was surprisingly good.
