I made it home with two howlers of the cinci-chili, but not for long. I have dropped one of them off at Tapistry for the crew and owners to try, maybe if you come by right now and do a little begging, there will be a taste for you. Or, maybe, Greenbush still has some left on the lab tap.
Today is the day! The day that the Cinci Chili gets released as a lab beer at Greenbush. I’m not there yet, but will be soon to join you. I’m hoping that this beer will be good at preventing ticks, as I found the first one on the back of my neck today. I have the dogs treated why not me?
It will be on Tuesday, that’s tomorrow, at Greenbush. Be there!
Ok, I have a Magnolia tree in the back of the Saturn and I have made it safely to Tapistry, and am just waiting on Bruce to show up so the Monday can start with a bang. Here we go!
A Sunday-Funday starting with a tap take over by Burn ‘Em Brewing at Maxine’s in Michigan City. I’m not clear whether you need a ticket or not, if you do I’m sure they are sold out. Wish I could have made it as they will have seven beers on tap, at least that’s what I think Blake told me.
Next Saturday and Sunday Greenbush will some of their merchandise on sale, 20% off for the masses and 25% off for the chosen, i.e. Mugclubbers.
Great. Crowd at Tapistry today, then I showed up. Go figure.
Let me sum the afternoon for you: Greenbush, which involved Debbie, Pat & Kevin, two different pizzas, Star Chicken Shotgun and lots of laughs. Then, to Tapistry, which involved more laughs, Menace Hopper, a cup of coffee, and some wonderful conversation with Ruther and his mate, Amanda.
Let me say that the BA Agent 99 at The Livery was f**king great! And, Star Chicken Shotgun is back on tap at Greenbush. Just a wonderful Friday, indeed.
Well, it’s official. The Cinci-Chili beer will be released next Tuesday at Greenbush. I don’t know what it’s going to be called, but I heard ‘The Beer of our Lloyd’ and ‘SOS” being tossed around. Any ideas?
In accordance to the day and Beer, here we go:
OLIVIA What’s a drunken man like, fool?
CLOWN Like a drowned man, a fool, and a madman: one draught above heat makes him a fool, the second mads him, and a third drowns him.
