Monthly Archives: February 2015
I’m a little down about this, actually, I really bummed about it; Lindsey Clements, who seems to have worked for Greenbush in their taproom for what seems to be forever, is no longer employed by them. I wish her all the best in her future endeavors, and hope that she stops in every-once-in-a-while for a beer as a customer.
It’s supposed to be in the low 20s today at the Winter Beer Festival in Grand Rapids, but as I look at my handy-dandy thermometer it’s registering a balmy 6 degrees F. Brrrr!
You’ve waited for it for the past year, and today it’s finally here. Later today, and tomorrow afternoon the Michigan Brewer’s Guild Winter Beer Fest will open it’s gates to the thirsty craft-brew lovers. There are currently tickets available for today’s event, but Saturday is sold out. All of this takes place in the Fifth Third Ballpark parking lot in Grand Rapids, so make sure bundle up as it’s supposed to feel more like January rather than late February.
I’m so neutral, and feeling neutered.
Sara is the newest server to be added to the fantastic Tapistry Crew!
What a beautiful, late, winter day! I’ll be at Tapistry and Greenbush later today, just look for the guy wearing shades.
How many Mondays has it been since I started this silliness? Give me a moment and I’ll figure it out. Looks like I come up with 112. So with that in mind, do I really need to go over what happens on Monday for the 112th time? Ok! One-More-Time!
Going to start at Tapistry where they have their TierIII beers for $2/pint, and with Hoponacci with Amarillo hops in that group it really starts to call to me once again. Then, it’s off to Greenbush for Mug-Club-Monday with half priced Group A & B beers.
If you can’t go to Mexico like my friends Matt, Angie, Kevin & Pat, then I can’t think of a better place to be, at least here in SW Michigan, than Greenbush and/or Tapistry. Maybe, if you would like to travel a little further North, then you might want to stop at The Livery or Arclight.
I just hope that the “chemical smell” from Greg & Joe repainting the brewery floor has dispersed. It was pretty stinky at Tapistry when I was in there yesterday.
I don’t think it’s going to be any more people going to Tapistry and Greenbush today, than there was yesterday. The roads are icy, snowy and somewhat treacherous, and then there’s the blowing and drifting snow and frigid temps to deal with. Anyway, it ain’t going to stop me and my quest, I hope.
