The Quest Continues…Drinking beer one day at a time

Monthly Archives: March 2015

The first, full day of Spring is here! Is the nice weather near? Don’t think so for this weekend, so why not just go to Tapistry, or your favorite brew-pub, and tip a snifter of Bring da Ruckus or barrel-aged Burn the Witch. It won’t make the weather any better, but it sure will warm you like a sunny day.

Cheers!

Spring begins at 6:45pm tonight; it must be time to take flight.

Tapistry is releasing their barrel-aged Burn the Witch and double IPA Bring da Ruckus today, both in bottles and on tap. I’ll be there to partake, how ’bout you?

If your interest are more towards the arts, you may want to take advantage of New Territory Arts Association spring art hop in Benton Harbor. Don’t worry, if you get a little thirsty because The Livery is right there to quench.

Cheers!

Where did everyone go?

Nate, Head Brewer at Tapistry, told me that they are releasing bottles tomorrow, and on tap, of their new Double IPA, Bring Da Ruckus, and one of their past brews, Burn The Witch, but this time aged in wine barrels. I’ve tasted both of these; the DIPA is right up my taste alley, and the Witch is much better to my palate then before the barrel aging. Do your self a favor and just stop in on Friday and try them both.

Cheers!

I had a semi-regular, and fellow mug-club member, at Greenbush asked me how long I was going to continue this madness. I told him that I was going to quit a couple of hundred days ago, but I’m still at it. So, with that in mind, I would like to have some suggestions from the millions (;-) of subscriber to this blog suggest a day, date, year, or how many more days should I continue to do this.

Cheers!

Where does the time go? It’s Tuesday and I’m barely ready for it; fortunately, Tapistry & The Livery both have Mug-Club specials today. And, it’s Taco-Tuesday at Greenbush and Tapistry (a double your pleasure here.) I guess I better get going.

Where was my head? It’s St. Patrick’s Day! Put on a bit o’ the green and get out to your favorite pub! Do try to be safe, though, so everyone is around for next year’s St Patty’s Day!

 Cheers!

Yes sir! It’s not only Monday, unquestionably the best day of the week, but it’s St Patty’s Day Eve. Ok, it really doesn’t make that much difference as I will still be partaking of TierIII at Tapistry and half-priced Groups A & B beer at Greenbush no matter what eve day it be.

Cheers!

It looks like we will have a new, and legal, craft-beer drinker today. Happy Birthday to Matthew Case! May you have a long and enjoyable life to enjoy the fruits of some many gifted craft brewers!

Can’t forget this, too. May everyone have a happy and a fully rounded PI day!

Cheers!

Too nice to stay inside! Oh, I do believe that Greenbush has their outdoor-section of the Annex open with chairs and tables to use while sipping on a Star Chicken Shotgun. But, just to make it a little more fair, I have to stop at Tapistry first. Maybe they’ll have their beer garden open, too.

Cheers!
